Sundin Finally Talking
As September rolls on, and the start of NHL training camps grows near, it appears that Mats Sundin is finally talking with teams.
It’s been reported by TSN that Sundin has met with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and plans on meeting with the Montreal Canadiens before returning to Europe today.
The Sundin camp was quick to point out that he still hasn’t determined if he wants to continue his career, but in meeting with any other team besides Toronto indicates that he’s probably looking for the one thing that has eluded most of his career: a shot at the Cup.
Besides the Leafs and Canadiens, the Vancouver Canucks and New York Rangers have shown interest in the 37-year-old.
