The Western Conference is tight. Only six points seperate eighth place and dead last. The team currently in eighth (the Anaheim Ducks) has still played more games than all of the teams chasing them.

Even the Phoenix Coyotes (who are 3-7-0 in their last ten games) jumped three teams with a win tonight.

Eventually some teams will falter, right? Can teams like the Kings, Predators, Blues, Avalanche really keep pace to the last day? With the number of teams involved, chances are at least a couple will keep it interesting.
