Dogfights To The Finish
With six games to go for most teams, the battle for the final playoff positions is getting tighter.
In the East, Montreal is clinging to the eighth position while the Rangers are struggling again and are within range of missing out. Florida is hanging in there, and no position up to fourth is truly safe yet (although Philadelphia has a game in hand on everyone behind them).
Out West it’s even tighter with three teams still having a legitimate shot. Anaheim, Minnesota and Edmonton are all right there while the surging St. Louis Blues hope to fend off the charge. Nashville is also in the thick of it.
