Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane and his cousin were arrested early Sunday morning in Buffalo, NY and charged with felony robbery and misdemeanour counts of theft and criminal mischief after allegedly beating up a cab driver because he didn’t have twenty cents change.

Twenty cents.

Kane earned $875,000 this past season, and he and his cousin beat some cabbie up over twenty cents? Granted, not many of the facts are out yet, but seriously? Why would they even be asking for the change? Don’t cab drivers normally get tips on top of the fare? So on top of beating people up for change, Patrick Kane doesn’t tip! Watch out, waitresses!

My gut tells me it’s someone trying to get an out of court settlement for easy money, but again, all the facts aren’t out. Perhaps the cousin is a loose cannon and Patrick didn’t do anything. Perhaps.
