No Canadian Representation In The East?

With Toronto and Ottawa several points back, and Montreal barely clinging to the final playoff position, it’s entirely possible that there will be no Canadian teams represented in the playoffs.
Granted, Ottawa’s on a tear, Montreal’s far from done, and Toronto is…well…Toronto, but it’s not looking especially good.

Is Ottawa Pulling A Toronto?

The Ottawa Senators are red hot right now.
Over their past ten games, they’re 9-1-0. With ten games remaining, they’re currently 7 points out of the final playoff spot.
The three teams they’re chasing (Montreal, Florida and Buffalo) all are playing some of their worst hockey of the season.
